We're are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems and products.

 

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

  • Lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems and products
  • Take ownership of major projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions
  • Oversee and contribute to prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC, safety, RoHS)
  • Participate in and lead design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis
  • Work with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing, QA) to ensure seamless product integration
  • Support continuous improvement in engineering standards, processes, and documentation.

 

Experiences required

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent proven capability/attitude)
  • Has experience in leading the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies and systems from concept through to production
  • Is experienced in creating detailed 3D CAD models (SolidWorks), engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Can conduct and review engineering calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) for strength, thermal, and dynamic performance
  • Practical workshop build, assembly and prototyping
  • Can guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship

We seek a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware systems (analogue, digital, mixed-signal). This hands-on, office-based role involves transforming requirements into reliable, manufacturable circuit designs. You will work on exciting projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with an inspiring engineering team.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

  • Lead the design of production electronics, including schematics and PCB layouts (ideally with KiCAD), from concept to production
  • Conduct circuit simulations and signal integrity analysis to ensure reliable operation
  • Write production software for embedded platforms
  • Guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship
  • Support continuous improvement in engineering standards, processes, and documentation
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC, safety, RoHS)

Experiences required

We’re seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Design Engineer to join our client on a 6 to 12 month fixed-term contract, offering a strong pathway to a permanent role. You will be instrumental in the complete cycle of design, refinement, and documentation for their modular buildings and enclosures, ensuring efficiency and quality across all stages.​

 

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

  • Drive the shift towards Parametric Design and configuration (using PDM/Vault systems) to eliminate time-consuming, bespoke work currently done in AutoCAD
  • Produce and manage full technical packs, including 3D/2D Manufacturing Drawings, cutting lists, and highly accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) that link directly to our ERP systems
  • Optimise new and existing designs (GRP Gatehouses, enclosures, special projects) for efficient manufacture, cost reduction, and superior build quality
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, legislation, and ISO 9001 standards
  • Act as the primary technical contact for client approvals, providing clear Customer Approval Drawings
  • Work proactively with the production team, providing support and advice to optimize the workflow for multi-material processes (timber framing, GRP hand-laying, weldments)

 

 

Experiences required

  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., BEng or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in Building Services, Construction, or Engineering Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks Parametric Modelling
  • Practical experience with PDM/PLM systems for configuration and revision control
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes involving multiple materials: GRP (glass reinforced plastic), timber, steel framing
  • Ability to create accurate BOMs (Bills of Materials) and costings
  • Knowledge of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems is beneficial

We are looking for a CAD & Project Coordinator who will be responsible for developing 3D CAD designs using Solid Edge or Rhino for acoustic wall and ceiling systems. You will transform architectural drawings into manufacturing schedules, coordinate with contractors, and ensure project accuracy. Ideal candidates will possess strong CAD experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the construction industry to meet tight deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

  • Modelling acoustic and decorative wall and ceiling systems in 3D to integrate into individual projects, interfacing with other building elements as required
  • Producing drawings for client approval
  • Generating production drawings for manufacture once signed off
  • Creating manufacturing schedules and cutting lists from CAD drawings for machinists
  • Scheduling material requirements
  • Drawing components and standard details, and creating visuals
  • Collaborating with R&D colleagues to develop drawings for new components, installation methods, and systems; this may include producing drawings and visuals for marketing purposes

Experiences required

  • Proficiency in creating detailed 3D CAD models using Solid Edge or similar (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo, Onshape, or Fusion 360)
  • Ability to produce detailed technical 2D production drawings for manufacture (DFM/DFMA)
  • Experience leading projects from inception through to installation
  • A background working within the construction industry (desirable)
  • The ability to create 3D visuals and renders (desirable)
