We seek a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware systems (analogue, digital, mixed-signal). This hands-on, office-based role involves transforming requirements into reliable, manufacturable circuit designs. You will work on exciting projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with an inspiring engineering team.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Lead the design of production electronics, including schematics and PCB layouts (ideally with KiCAD), from concept to production
Conduct circuit simulations and signal integrity analysis to ensure reliable operation
Write production software for embedded platforms
Guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship
Support continuous improvement in engineering standards, processes, and documentation
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC, safety, RoHS)
Communicate directly with clients professionally and effectively demonstrate our expertise in this discipline
Experiences required
Degree qualified in an appropriate area (but proven capability/attitude is more important)
Proven experience in leading the design of production electronics
Experience in writing production software for embedded platforms
Ability to guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship
Advantageous Experience
Prototyping and simulation electronic skills
Understanding of electronic component supply chains
Broader mechatronic skills
Experience using tools such as: LTspice, E-Plan, STMcube, MATLAB Simulink
Experience with industrial wiring and PLCs
Experience with BLE
