Join a high-end, rapidly growing bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and architectural joinery manufacturer. Managing premium projects across both residential and commercial sectors, they operate from a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Combining advanced HOMAG CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders with cutting-edge CAD software and traditional craftsmanship.


Due to heavy investment across their manufacturing and design teams, we are looking for a technically sharp Bench Joiner to support the manufacturing process by manufacturing, assembling, fitting, and finishing bespoke joinery and furniture components.


Responsibilities, but are not limited to

  • Read and interpret production drawings, assembly drawings, cutting lists, and manufacturing documentation

  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinets, furniture, doors, wardrobes, wall panelling, reception desks, and other bespoke joinery components

  • Perform dry fitting of components to ensure dimensional accuracy before final assembly

  • Fit hardware including hinges, drawer systems, runners, locks, handles, lighting components, and specialist ironmongery

  • Carry out trimming, fitting, sanding, and surface preparation to meet high quality standards

  • Safely operate hand tools, portable power tools, and workshop equipment

  • Conduct ongoing quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and report defects

  • Collaborate closely with CNC Operators, Machinists, Veneering, Design, and Production teams to resolve issues and deliver projects on time

  • Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to all workshop Health & Safety policies


Experiences required

  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker within high-end, bespoke joinery manufacturing

  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical joinery drawings, cutting lists, and assembly details

  • Proficiency in traditional and modern assembly methods, component jointing, and fine hand-tool work

  • Extensive hands-on experience fitting high-end hardware, specialist ironmongery, and integrated lighting systems
